LABORATORY
Established in 2022 as ACT‘s first branch office, ACT Laboratory is a form of commitment from management in complying with applicable regulations, which are based on Minister of Industry Regulation No. 45 Year 2022 regarding Industrial Standardization, the requirement to be appointed as a Certification Body (LSPro) for products that apply Mandatory SNI is to have its own testing laboratory with competencies according to its scope. In its development, ACT Laboratory continues to expand the scope of testing services beyond the Mandatory SNI.
Located in the Delta Silicon 3 Industrial Area – Lippo Cikarang (West Java), the ACT Laboratory is supported by competent and experienced personnel and has adequate testing facilities and equipment. The competence of the ACT Laboratory has been proven by obtaining accreditation status from the Indonesia Accreditation Body (Komite Akreditasi Nasional / KAN) based on SNI ISO/IEC 17025:2017 on February 22nd, 2023 with accreditation number LP-1765-IDN. Armed with this, ACT Laboratory is committed to providing fast, accurate and reliable testing services.
TESTING SERVICES
ACT Laboratory provides product testing services for SNI certification purposes with the scope of testing on Baby Clothing and Toys product.
About SNI
Indonesia National Standard (Standar Nasional Indonesia / SNI) are the only standards that apply nationally in the Republic of Indonesia. Basically, the application of SNI is voluntary until there is a Republic of Indonesia government regulation that requires the application of SNI to be mandatory implemented.
ACT Laboratory provides product testing services for K3L registration purposes with the scope of testing on goods containing dangerous chemicals (textiles, textile products, footwears, crayon).
About K3L
K3L Registration is determined by the Ministry of Trade of the Republic of Indonesia with the aim of providing protection to consumers against security risks that result in casualties or damage related to health, safety security, and environment (HSSE).
Based on Regulation of Minister of Trade No. 26 Year 2021 regarding Determination of Standards for Business Activities and Products in the Implementation of Risk-Based Business Licensing in the Trade Sector, products related to K3L must be registered and have a registration mark in the form of an K3L Registration number which is printed on the goods in a way that makes them easily visible/readable and not easily damaged while the products are still being traded.
K3L Registration is carried out by domestic manufacturer or importers through OSS by attaching the required documents and laboratory test results reports issued no later than 6 months before the date of application submission. K3L Registration is valid for 5 years and must be re-registered. In the event that there are products related to K3L that have been effectively implemented with SNI mandatorily, those products must also comply with the provisions for the application of SNI.
